A little spill...

I didn't mean to make such a mess, ink gets everywhere!
This is part of a large piece, but I wanted to capture this little section of it, of the paint coming off the page onto the floor, I thought it was quite nice, kind of breaking boundaries, showing that art doesn't have to just page on the page, even though its just a few drops off ink, (thankfully) the effect produced iworks well as a stand alone piece.

I actually like this piece at the stage it's at, as normally I would've added illustrations and more layers to it, but it's quite nice just as a textured painting.

I was very concious of trying not to copy his work, I choose to contrasting, bold colours, red/black and I added the string to give a continous feel to the piece, you can't see very well in the image, but it goes off the page. it's not the kind of piece I'd normally do, but I quite liked using few materials and considering there placement carefully.

Some coffee spilling...

Ted says...

apart of a short book I did for my project,
it was simple continuous line drawings with a few short sentences
telling you what to do, or how to do something, this page was 'Ted says....turn on the light.'

How to make coffee

I did a short film on the process of making coffee
and used some video stills for my 'Ted says' book

as the book was about taking simple actions and documenting them,
this process seemed appropriate.

Morning routine based page

There is a lot going on here, for my final piece it's probably not the best,
but for me, I worked with many different ideas, and my main idea was to make this like a journal, my theme was routine, and the simplistic way of documenting that is making notes, taking pictures, collecting things, and putting them into a little journal to look back on, and this was my result.
