 This plays on the idea of being controlled, but not being aware of it.

Identity : little creations

 using the brief on thinking and making
I began to create my own little characters using found materals, I've developed this further with the theme of identity, by having them question themselves or introduce who or what they are adds life and character to them.








Boxman is so far my favourite, i think because the materal's ive used, I wouldn't normally think to put together, although they are basically just cardboard and sticks and abit of string, normally making dolls or anything form of creature I'd just use fabrics and sewing, but with this I went out and just used what I could find, rather than planning what materials to use.

Stick/box man motion test

here I was testing to see how I could make this creature I made move, using string, it didn't work as well as I hoped, but showed me how it could be improved and developed further 

Aftermath....

Not the prettiest of sights, but exploring

this place I came across used needles, monitors, papers, tyres, junk left over from people contained in a abandoned space, but not forgotten about, which is quite nice, dispite the reasons people use it for, this place is filled with amazing graffiti, it;s a work of art on it's own.

Was a little scary going in here, but I loved all the art graffiied everywhere, and well all the junk lying around, although the place is derelict, it's still being used, still life and creativity filling the space, which is quite nice, as you don't see it much.

Coffee creature

Alittle creature made using found materials, I like the effect and texture the wool gives also it would be nice when drawing from.

Gloves

I saw this walking home, its two gloves placed on a railings, it's probably someones unwanted gloves that they placed there rather than throwing away, which I thought was quite nice, the simplistic nature of it captured my eye, along with the reflecting light off a nearby lampost shinning off them, it makes a nice composition.
